OpenTimestamps (OTS) is an open standard for blockchain timestamping. SATERREX submits the chain tip hash to Bitcoin calendar servers operated by independent parties. Once included in a Bitcoin block, the timestamp becomes permanently verifiable by any third party — without trusting SATERREX. Learn more at opentimestamps.org →
Append-only chain: Each forensic record includes the SHA-256 hash of the previous record. Modifying any past record invalidates every subsequent hash — making tampering immediately detectable.
Bitcoin timestamp: The chain tip hash is submitted to the Bitcoin blockchain. Since Bitcoin blocks are immutable and globally distributed, this creates an independent timestamp that SATERREX itself cannot alter after the fact.
Third-party verifiable: Any auditor can recompute the hash chain from the raw records and compare against the anchored value — no need to trust the platform.
